Looking back at 2015 - Kim Fathers, Director

As we approach the end of 2015 we have been reflecting on all of the activities that have taken place throughout the year.

Some of the highlights include the wonderful production of Dorothy and The Wizard that took place at the Abbey Theatre at the beginning of year.

Lots of trips have taken place over the summer and fundraising activities have been ongoing. The big event of the year was when Katie and Grace, two of our South Warwickshire Support staff organised a Summer Ball at Ingon Manor and raised over £3,000 pounds.

Bren Hellier a parent / carer competed in a Triathlon on behalf of TAB and raised a thousand pounds.

These big events are fantastic but so are all the smaller events and donations that quietly take place all of the time.

Next year TAB will be 20 years old so keep your eyes peeled as there will be a series of events to mark the momentous occasion. We haven’t done too badly for a project that only had two years funding back in 1996!

Thank you to all of you that make up Take a Break Warwickshire, whether you are a customer, a parent or carer, a fundraiser, or a member of staff. It needs us all to make sure we can continue to deliver our services across the region.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Kim Fathers
