Boccia Success for Henry

Congratulations to Henry Slaughter who has been selected to represent Britain in the Boccia Team GB talent squad.

Sixteen year old Henry has had a very challenging year. He is a fulltime wheelchair user with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. Last year he underwent major spinal surgery at Great Ormond Street.

Sporty TABs Tackle Mate/Hate Crime

Sporty TABs group photo.This Sunday Sporty TABs confronted the issue of Hate/Mate Crime face on.

the group started wit learning about mate crime and how it can happen without anybody knowing what it is. We spoke about who to trust and identified ways of finding out if people are our true friends or if people are just using us for other reasons.

Coleshill Saturday Club - Full driving licence required (3 hours per week)

Quiz raises funds for FAB TABS

Thanks to everyone who came and supported the quiz on Friday eveining. The quiz was in aid of FAB TABS. A total of £204 was raised. A special mention thank you to James Mumford whose idea it was to ask for a quiz in aid of FAB TABS. Look out for plans for another quiz next year.

Group Leader Vacancy

Take-A-Break Life Oportunities (TABLO) are looking to recruit a Group Leader for an established Walking Group.

This group runs on  Tuesday morning, each week in the Nuneaton & Bedworth Area 9.30-12.30.

North Warwickshire & Hinckley College "Work with Community and Young People"

North Warwickshire and Hinckly College are offering an exciting 2 year course. The course is a Foundation Degree in "Work with Communities and Young People".

Once students have graduated they can complete a further top up year at De Montfort University and will then further graduate with BA Honours in "Work with Communities and Young People".

All students studying on the programme will receive an excellent learning experience of transferable academic knoledge and the importance of theory to practice in a wide range of subjects.

Consultation on Children's Disability Services (IDS)

As many of you may already know Warwickshire's Integrated Disability Services (IDS) have been given the target to save £1.7m from the budget.

This consultation is your chance to have your say on how service should be redesigned for the future.
