The Care Quality Commission
Under the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act (2003), the Care Quality Commission is responsible for regulating and inspecting independent healthcare in England. Many independent healthcare organisations must be registered with them because of the types of services they provide, and must show that they are meeting the government's national minimum standards through an annual self-assessment. They inspect any that they consider to be at risk of not meeting the standards, and inspect all establishments at least once every five years.
In July 2021, the service was de registered with the CQC following a two year period of dormancy. This was due to not completing any regulated activities.
